The Union for Ethical BioTrade and Food Ingredients Europe Announce the Ethical BioTrade Awards for Biodiversity To celebrate the United Nations 2010 International Year of Biodiversity, the Union for Ethical BioTrade and Food Ingredients Europe are proud to announce the first Ethical BioTrade Awards for Biodiversity at the Fi Europe fair 2009. The announcement will be made next week in Frankfurt at the annual Fi Europe trade show and the first award will be presented next year in Madrid at Fi Europe's sister show, Health Ingredients Europe 2010. Food ingredients Excellence Awards Shortlist announced Fourteen innovative food ingredients have been shortlisted for the Food ingredients (Fi) Excellence Awards, it was announced today. The winners will be announced during the awards ceremony at Food ingredients Europe on 17 November 2009 at 6pm. The judging committee, comprised of industry luminaries from companies including Unilever, Danone and Albert Heijn, met in Amsterdam for 8 hours and analysed each entry in detail. Read more

Food ingredients Europe: Pre-registration opens for the largest ever European ingredients exhibition Food ingredients Europe (FiE) opened for registration today, announced UBM International Media, the global trade show organiser. The 2009 edition, 17-19 November in Frankfurt, is the 10th in the European series of food and beverage ingredients trade exhibitions. This year over 1100 exhibitors are expected, taking up over 25,000m2 of floor space at the Frankfurt Messe exhibition centre. Read more |
