MEGGLE’s Food Systems Business Group manufactures and markets ingredients and
solutions for the food industry. MEGGLE Food Systems’ milk- and
whey-based products enhance a wide range of foods.
Working hand-in-hand with customers, MEGGLE Food Systems creates a
variety of innovative products. These fall into three groups, which are
closely aligned with market needs: DAIRY; SAVOURY, which includes
compounds for processed meats, sausages, soups, sauces and
delicatessen products; and SWEET, comprising baked goods, desserts
and beverages.


All materials used in MEGGLE Food Systems’ semi-finished products and
compounds are sourced from sustainable, eco-friendly agriculture. The
result is premium-quality products with exceptional functionality. Guy

MEGGLE AG: Dairy products for Europe and beyond
MEGGLE’s origins go back almost 125 years, to a small cheesemaking
business in Wasserburg near Munich, Germany. Today, the company is
one of Europe’s best-known manufacturers of dairy products. While
MEGGLE’s core market is Germany and Europe, its sales offices are now
found across North and South America and Asia. Outside of Germany,
eight facilities in Austria and Eastern Europe produce high-quality milk,
cheese, cream and yoghurt products for regional markets. In addition to
consumers, MEGGLE’s customers include the food, pharmaceutical and
animal feed industries.


Today, the MEGGLE Group has over 2,500 employees. In 2010, it
generated sales of around 725 million euros from the development,
manufacture and marketing of high-quality milk and whey products.
Despite its international success, MEGGLE remains true to its roots – its
headquarters are still located in Wasserburg.
